Salvini’s Popularity Continues To Rise In Italy

The Nationalist Politician’s ‘League’ Party Now Close To Achieving Parliamentary Majority Alone

Italian leader Matteo Salvini’s popular nationalist ‘League’ party has reached a record 38% public support in a recent poll, putting it within striking distance of the 40% needed to potentially secure an absolute parliamentary majority without a coalition.

Salvini first won power in a coalition with the populist Five Star Movement, which has now waned to 17.2% support. Some speculate that as public support continues to grow, Salvini may attempt to trigger new elections to secure an absolute majority with an even more secure popular mandate.

The poll numbers demonstrate the Italians’ approval of the hard-right direction of their new government, which has been at the forefront of resisting the globalist European Union’s push for neo-colonialist migrant invasion, especially from Africa. Salvini has cracked down sharply and successfully on migrant smugglers and human traffickers operating across the Mediterranean under the guise of humanitarianism.

Despite the ire this has earned Italy from tyrannical globalist bodies like the UN and the EU, Salvini has nevertheless persisted, and his increasing popularity is a tribute to the spirit of the Italian people and an encouragement everywhere that it is possible to successfully resist the chains of globalism.
