Venezuela’s Communist Saviors?

The destitute socialist dictatorship is hoping a Chinese bailout will keep its failed state afloat

Venezuela is a socialist hellhole that is crumbling before our very eyes. The authoritarian government led by military dictator Nicolas Maduro is not likely to hang onto power for very much longer, but financial assistance from China may help the tyrants maintain control.

China extended an offer to financially support the fledgling socialist nation on Friday after Maduro arrived in Beijing to talk with Chinese President Xi Jinping. Both men have a mutual enemy in the United States and the shared goal of keeping the socialist dream alive.

“China and Venezuela have to enhance friendly mutual trust and push for mutually beneficial cooperation,” Xi said.

Throughout the previous decade, China has loaned Venezuela an incredible $50 billion. The oil rich nation has squandered this money, as they have all of their own cash and resources as well, due to the tremendous failure of the socialist central planners. As a result, the people of Venezuela are now eating their household pets to stay alive.

That is the status quo that China hopes to continue with their next round of bailouts. Maduro, always the cowardly sycophant, praised Mao Zedong as he visited China. Mao is renowned for being perhaps the world’s worst mass murderer, as his economic policies resulted in the gruesome deaths of tens of millions of Chinese peasants.

“We are beginning this state visit in the best way because we have come to pay tribute to the great helmsman Mao Zedong,” Maduro said.

“I was very moved because it really reminds me of one of the great founders of a multipolar 21st century,” he said, also claiming that Mao was a “giant of revolutionary ideas” while he lived.

The International Monetary Fund estimates that the inflation rate of Venezuela will reach a comedic level of 1 million percent by the end of the year. This is the status quo that is perfectly fine with the Chinese communists, who have no respect for the dignity of the individual. Trump’s trade war against these reprehensible interests cannot be successful fast enough!
