President Donald Trump declared shortly before Christmas that troops would be returning home from Syria, angering the War Party tremendously. Trump is now considering reneging on his pledge, according to a Wall Street Journal report.
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) is leading the charge on behalf of the military-industrial complex to keep troops in Syria despite the fact that ISIS has been all but obliterated in the region.
“I think we’re slowing things down in a smart way,” Graham said to the WSJ. “But the goal has always been the same: To be able to leave Syria, to make sure ISIS never comes back, our partners are taken care of and Iran’s contained.”
“I think we are in a pause situation, where we’re re-evaluating what’s the best way to achieve the president’s objective of having people pay more and do more,” Graham added.
Other establishment hacks are championing endless war in Syria as well.
“ISIS is an idea and as long as the fertile ground exists… you’re going to have it flare back up again,” said former Army General Stanley McChrystal on ABC. McChrystal was run out of the Obama White House in disgrace after making inappropriate remarks to the press.
“There is an argument that says we just pull up our stuff, go home, let the region run itself,” McChrystal added. “That has not done well for the last 50 or 60 years.”
Trump must remember that his electoral mandate was not to do what George W. Bush would have done in the Middle East. He was elected to bring the troops home from unnecessary conflicts and focus our resources on Making America Great Again.
If anybody but your favorite President, Donald J. Trump, announced that, after decimating ISIS in Syria, we were going to bring our troops back home (happy & healthy), that person would be the most popular hero in America. With me, hit hard instead by the Fake News Media. Crazy!

Saudi Arabia has now agreed to spend the necessary money needed to help rebuild Syria, instead of the United States. See? Isn’t it nice when immensely wealthy countries help rebuild their neighbors rather than a Great Country, the U.S., that is 5000 miles away. Thanks to Saudi A!

Call President Donald Trump at 202-456-1111 to urge him to bring more troops home and continue the withdrawal in the Syria as planned. The neocons and other warmongers must be ignored in order for Trump’s ‘America First’ agenda to take hold!
