There has been much contention over the nature of the Iranian nuclear program, and the Islamic Republic arming itself to potentially wage war against the state of Israel. Thanks to a top secret raid conducted by the Israeli Mossad, it is more difficult for Iran to hide their true nuclear capabilities from the public.
The New York Post reported that as many as two dozen spies, alarm systems, metal safes, sophisticated gadgets to crack those safes, and a mere six and a half hours were needed to complete the monumental task of espionage to retrieve hidden documents from the Iranians, but the dangerous operation was ultimately successful.
“The papers show these guys were working on nuclear bombs,” a former inspector for the International Atomic Energy Agency said about the documents that were taken from the Iranians.
The Mossad retrieved information showing that Iran was violating the spirit of their nuclear deal that was brokered under former US President Barack Obama. That deal is now null and void thanks to President Donald Trump, who refuses to tolerate radical Islam as his predecessor did. The Mossad’s clandestine work helped to justify Trump’s withdrawal from the agreement by showing that the Iranians were acting in bad faith.
All in all, approximately 50,000 pages and 163 compact discs’ worth of intel was collected from a Tehran facility by Mossad agents. It took over a year of preparation before the operation commenced on Jan. 31. This was the information that formed the basis of Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu’s address in April, which caught the ire of the United Nations. It was this special intel that caused Netanyahu to blow the whistle about the Iranian threat.
US and British intelligence sources have verified what the Mossad has claimed despite constant denials from the Iranians.
