Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro is getting paranoid as his regime crumbles due to his policies of totalitarian socialism. He now believes that the right-wing governments of Colombia and Brazil are conspiring with the Trump regime to take him out.
“I come again to denounce the plot which is being prepared from the White House to violate Venezuelan democracy, to assassinate me and to impose a dictatorial government in Venezuela,” he said.
Maduro blames Trump’s national security adviser John Bolton for creating this plot.
“Mr John Bolton has been assigned as chief of the plan, of the plot, to fill Venezuela with violence and seek a foreign military intervention, a coup d’etat, and impose what they call a transitional government council,” Maduro said.
While Bolton is a notorious warmonger so the story is not completely improbable, Maduro’s stunt is likely another ruse to keep the poor impoverished people of Venezuela underneath his thumb. He is attempting to paint the pro-capitalist, pro-law and order Jair Bolsonaro, the soon-to-be President of Brazil, as an extremist threat.
“Brazil’s military forces want peace. Nobody in Brazil wants the incoming government of Jair Bolsonaro to engage in a military adventure against the people of Venezuela,” Maduro said.
Contrary to the dictator’s propaganda, there is no peace in Venezuela right now. The country is crumbling as ordinary citizens are forced to eat house pets due to the economic turmoil caused by the collapse of socialism. Meanwhile, Brazil is on the verge of a renaissance under a leader who knows the importance of a market-based prosperity.

Honestly, an assassination plot on the socialist totalitarian despot Maduro wouldn’t be the worst thing for the Venezuela people right about now!
