President Donald Trump is being savaged by the mainstream media and the deep state for suggesting that the international bureaucrats of the European Union stand as a “foe” to the United States, but the state of Israel might be pleased with Trump’s push-back against the globalist body as they were recently rebuked by the EU after standing for Jewish national identity.
The Israeli Knesset passed a Nationality Law on Thursday declaring that only Jews have the right to self-determination. This is a rebuke of the Palestinians, who believe that they are entitled to the land that is now lawfully possessed by Israel. The EU – similar to the United Nations – regularly takes the side of the Palestinians against the Israelis.
“We are concerned, we have expressed this concern and we will continue to engage with Israeli authorities in this context,” an EU spokeswoman said during a press conference today.
“We’ve been very clear when it comes to the two-state solution, we believe it is the only way forward and any step that would further complicate or prevent this solution of becoming a reality should be avoided,” she said.
The EU is standing with Turkey, whose leader Tayyip Erdogan has been very open about his desire to flood Europe and other Western countries with Muslims. This Islamic autocrat believes that the national character of Israel should not be preserved and applauds the EU’s condemnation. He calls Israel an “apartheid state.”
“Identifying the right to self-determination as a right given only to Jews is the result of an outdated and discriminatory mentality,” the Turkish foreign ministry said in a public statement.
Israeli nationalists maintain that this legislation is necessary to protect the integrity of the Jewish state as threats like Hamas and Hezbollah continue to expand their global reach. The new law fortifies Israel as the Middle East’s only sanctuary against the threat of radical Islam.
“This is a defining moment in the annals of Zionism and the annals of the state of Israel,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said after the bill was officially approved. “We have determined in law the founding principle of our existence. Israel is the nation-state of the Jewish people, and respects the rights of all of its citizens.”
Netanyahu feels emboldened because he knows he has US President Donald Trump firmly on his side.
“My administration will stand side-by-side with the Jewish people and Israel’s leaders to continue strengthening the bridges that connect, not only Jewish Americans and Israelis, but also all Americans and Israelis,” Trump said.
