Besties: Trump And Kim Are Closer Than Ever

The deep state has repeatedly tried to sabotage Trump’s diplomatic achievements but to no avail.

President Donald Trump’s unorthodox diplomacy has yielded significant results in dealing with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un. The naysayers, who once predicted that Trump’s harsh words toward Kim would cause a nuclear holocaust, have worked diligently to sever the bonds between the two strong nationalist leaders.

Despite the best efforts of the deep state and the liberal media, the bromance between Trump and Kim is stronger than ever. Kim has “unwavering trust for President Trump” and is aiming to denuclearize the Korean peninsula before Trump finishes up his first term.

“This trust, despite some difficulties surfaced during the negotiation process between the US and the North, will continue,” South Korean special envoy Chung Eun-yong said after meeting with Kim in Pyongyang earlier in the week.

The North Korean state media is also transmitting a message displaying the steadfast desire of the People’s Republic for peace.

“Noting that it is our fixed stand and his (Kim’s) will to completely remove the danger of armed conflict and horror of war from the Korean peninsula and turn it into the cradle of peace without nuclear weapons and free from nuclear threat, he said that the north and the south should further their efforts to realize the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula,” the Korean Central News Agency reported.

Although Trump recently cancelled a planned trip for Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to enter the North Korean capital, the ties have not been broken as a result. Both sides remain very amicable although talks are now at an impasse.

“South Korea can really play the good cop to Washington’s bad cop, being a more sympathetic ear to Trump’s hard line on denuclearization,” said Oliver Hotham, who serves as Managing Editor for Korea Risk Group, to CNN last month. “There’s certainly disagreement between Seoul and Washington on the speed at which all this peace stuff should unfold, but that disagreement actually helps this dynamic in many ways.”

The “Art of the Deal” is currently on display in North Korea, and those naysayers would be wise to change course because DJT’s skills in this regard are unlike anything we have seen in the Oval Office.
