FBI special counsel Robert Mueller is desperately trying to make an example of Paul Manafort, the former Trump campaign manager who is being railroaded by a deep state desperate to keep America from being great again.
Even if the crooked feds are successful in securing a prosecution of Manafort, that doesn’t necessarily mean he will serve any jail time. His former boss, Big DJT, holds the ultimate Trump card: The Presidential Pardon. And he’s not afraid to use it!
“It was never discussed, but I wouldn’t take it off the table. Why would I take it off the table?” Trump said to the New York Post.
Trump’s lawyer, Rudy Giuliani confirmed that they had talked about pardoning Manafort in the past, deciding that it wasn’t the proper time.
“The last time we talked pardon was April or May, when I first came on,” Giuliani said. “We decided it should be off the boards — not exercised now and no one should make a decision based on any expectation.”
But the time may be coming soon when it is prudent for President Trump to pardon Manafort. Trump is known to reward loyalty, and he has been impressed with how Manafort has handled himself throughout the entire sordid process.
“If you told the truth, you go to jail,” Trump said to the Post about Mueller’s unethical investigative style.
“You know this flipping stuff is terrible,” Trump added. “You flip and you lie and you get — the prosecutors will tell you 99% of the time they can get people to flip. It’s rare that they can’t.”
“It’s actually very brave,” Trump said of Manafort as well as infamous political dirty-trickster Roger Stone and conspiracy-minded journalist Jerome Corsi, who are also feeling Mueller’s wrath.
None of the charges that are being levied against Manafort have anything to do with his experiences during the Trump campaign. All eight charges took place prior to the point when Manafort became Trump’s campaign chairman in 2016. They attempted to lean on Manafort so he would flip on Trump, but Manafort is a made man. He knows never to dime like a bitch, and for that, he has earned Trump’s eternal respect.
“I have great respect for what he’s done in terms of what he’s gone through,” Trump said of Manafort.
After Manafort is inevitably pardoned, perhaps he should be given a role in the Trump administration cleaning up the deep state that tried its best to ruin his life!
