Knicks On Verge Of History

With 6 games remaining, Knicks closing in on worst season in team history

They say records are meant to be broken, but this is one record the New York Knicks and their fans won’t be proud of.

New York is in danger of setting the franchise record for losses in a season in what will surely go down in history as one of the most embarrassing years in Gotham City basketball history. Currently sitting at 14-62, the worst record in the NBA, the Knicks have just six games remaining to surpass their 17-game win total during the 2014-2015 season.

The Knicks are presumably playing for pride, development and Zion Williamson. If they have done anything well this year, it is throw their season away in hopes of landing the number one pick and the freshman phenom from Duke. NBA commissioner, Adam Silver, recently referred to New York’s tanking strategy as “corrosive”, but in a season where the Knicks could do very little right, they should almost be commended for their commitment to playing awful basketball.

The Knicks, losers of 14 out of their last 15 games, will attempt to right whatever is left of the ship Monday night vs. Chicago bulls.
