Cardi B Hit With Felony Charges From A Strip Club Brawl

Grammy Winning Rapper Indicted And Refused Plea Offer

Grammy award winning rapper Cardi B was indicted by a grand jury on multiple charges in connection to a fight at a strip club in October.

TMZ reported that the 26 year old, whose real name is Belcalis Almanzar received 14 charges in total. The charges include two counts of felony attempted assault with intent to cause serious physical injury.

Other less serious charges include, reckless endangerment, criminal solicitation, conspiracy, and harassment.

This is the sa,e Cardi B that once said that the US is a “hellhole” under Trump.

Police said that it all began when her entourage got into an argument with a bartender at Angels Strip Club in New York. Things escalated and eventually, a fight broke out and chairs, bottles and hookah pipes were hurled, causing injuries to the woman and another employee. Cardi has been accused of instigating the melee.

The rapper previously refused to plead guilty to a misdemeanor that could have resolved the case.

Cardi is due back in court on June 25 although her next hearing will be in August 9. The artist’s case will remain sealed until her arraignment.
